I contemplated this upgrade for several months before finally taking the plunge. The batteries stay charged for several hours and I love that you can plug the entire battery into the charger. I love my upgrade and am considering the Triton II.
I changed to Halo from another product. There were so many differences is every aspect of the product and how it was made. It attached easily, but what I like most about it is how long the battery charge lasts. Not only that, it only takes a couple of hours and you’re in business and ready to vape. I now have two different batteries, so I never have to be without my vape pen.
As long as you are not puffing down on this non-stop or sharing it one charge can last you two work days which is important for me since sometimes you forget to charge up at the end of the night.
I have two 400 mah in black finish. They are great batteries. Love the texture and durability of them. I have moved on to different mods but still use the triton for on the go. Small enough to keep one in my pocket at work. I have had them for almost 1 year, and they have held up to many accidental drops. The batteries are also sealed, so if you get any leaks they can be easily cleaned up with no worries of damaging the battery. They are very simple to operate. The 5 click shut off option works great as well when storing in your pocket. I highly recommend if you're looking for a relatively small portable setup. Another bonus is they are compatable with the G6 cartomizers and mini tanks, so if you are just looking at upgrading from your G6 battery this is a great option.
Great battery product. Solid and reliable. The most reliable part of the entire system. A few issues Halo could improve: Longevity of the paint. It doesn't last as long as the batteries. Eventually, all the colors wear off except for the iridescent one, which is anodized or some similar process. They should offer a plain stainless option, then there wouldn't be the problem with the colored coating wearing off. It would also be nice if the LED color was selectable. I find the purple the best because it is not as bright as the others. I prefer to have less light to enhance the stealth factor when using at night. As far as I have found out, the only way to get the purple LED is with a purple battery, but the paint on that one is the lowest quality, it started coming off soon after I fought it. I quite soon had to remove it myself and ended up with a silver battery.
