Since I began vaping in 2013 I've been a loyal Halo customer. I've purchased $1000's of dollars of e-liquids and Triton component parts. The Triton has been a wonderful little pen to use - it's less obtrusive and has performed reliably. Why would Halo assume all of their customers want to "lug" around a very large, very ugly piece of equipment for vaping? I'm a 58 year old former cigarette smoker - not cigar smoker! When Halo first emerged, you seemed to have a mission with a core group of products. Today, you have products and liquids coming and going so fast, I can't trust you'll have what I need or want when I return to make a purchase. I've twice asked customer service if they're discontinuing the Triton. I always received the same answer - no, Halo was not discontinuing the product. Of course all of the component replacements choices were diminishing little by little - and I was told I could be on the list to be notified when they were available. Now it feels like we're simply buying old stock and replacement parts until they're gone. At least put out a notice that you're discontinuing products so we can buy up the stock - or convince you, you're making a mistake! As much as I've loved Halo and Tribeca, I may have to take my loyalty elsewhere.
I have been using the Triton for years. IMHO the best vape pen available. I have always used the 650 mAh batteries and, in the past, they have lasted many months before they lose capacity and can no longer last through a tank. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about the ones currently available. I now have a whole handful of these that have all lost capacity in the last few weeks. I kept buying more in hopes that I just got bad ones, but every single one has had a very short useful life. Even sent a couple back under warranty. Now I guess I will try the 900 mAh ones and see if they are any better as soon as they become available in black. I see other reviews stating a similar concern. Time to have quality control look into maybe sourcing these from another supplier...
I have read the reviews and can't believe that Halo is discontinuing the Triton batteries. I have been using these for years and have tried other devices that don't work for me as well as the Triton. Does being a loyal customer count for anything?
Just bought 4 900 mah batteries. We have been using the 650's that have performed flawlessly.
My older Halo batteries are at least 2 years old and still working great.
A couple need more frequent recharging so we thought it was time to have fresh Halo batteries so we wouldn't be caught by surprise.
Our new batteries are strong and long lasting. They deliver a good vape hit with our Triton Tanks and deliver the flavor that makes vaping so enjoyable.
I see postings on this site where people say the Triton system might be discontinued.
If Halo is reading this--THIS WOULD BE A BIG MISTAKE--TO DISCONTINUE TRITON.
Many of us DO NOT want to carry a square battery--We like The Triton System.
Halo needs to be loyal to customers to use Triton.
I love the Triton, it’s most like a cigarette! I’ve tried several other Halo options but the Triton is what I ALWAYS use. I totally agree with other reviewers that newer is not always better and really don’t see why this is being discontinued when there are a lot of us, loyal customers, who want the Triton to continue. I enjoy the e-liquids as well and don’t want to switch companies, but I fear if the Triton goes away I’ll be back to searching for options elsewhere.
