Our Ten Favorite Celebrity Vapers
Celebrities have always influenced popular trends in America. Like it or not, we constantly look to the glitterati for cues on what to wear, eat, drink, and drive.
Celebrities are the official ambassadors of “cool.” So, it should come as no surprise, that the growing nationwide acceptance of e-cigarettes over the past 5 years has been sparked, in part, by increased celebrity vaping.
Keep reading to learn about our top ten favorite celebrity vapers (in no particular order). We’ve even taken the liberty of guessing what Halo e-liquid they love.
Yup, Katy Perry vaped an e-cig and she liked it. Not surprisingly, this vibrant popstar’s e-cig is bright purple. Surely we can all agree that an appearance by her e-cigarette would have outshined that darned left Shark at last year’s Super Bowl halftime show.
To stay forever kissable, Katy probably vapes the mouth-tingling peppermint flavored Kringle’s Curse e-liquid blend.
This unapologetic star is probably most famous for the bizarre rants and drug-fuelled benders that followed his firing from the hit TV show “Two and a Half Men”. But to us, Charlie Sheen is famous for repeatedly being spotted with an e-cig.
While absent from the limelight for a few years, Lindsay Lohan is still famous (if for reasons other than her acting). But, of particular interest to us, this “Mean Girl” was featured using an e-cigarette on “Extra.” So, at least she’s done one thing right!
The best flavor for former-teen-actress recovery? Malibu. Duh!
Who’s cooler than Johnny Depp? Probably no one. Not only is Depp famous for playing Captain Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, he frequently vaped an e-cig in the movie The Tourist, acting alongside Angelina Jolie. What more can we possibly say to convince you of his coolness?
What else would Captain Jack Sparrow vape, but Captain Jack e-liquid?
Basketball Diaries, Titanic, The Departed, The Wolf of Wall Street, Inception, and many, many other box office hits. DiCaprio is a bonafide movie star (even if The Academy has failed to recognize his top-rate acting chops). Like many of us passionate vapers, DiCaprio was a regular smoker before he discovered e-cigarettes. He’s been seen vaping numerous times, including at the 2013 Golden Globes.
What e-liquid would tempt this talented dude? We’re thinking the authentic, yet premium, taste of Prime 15.
Unlike many of Hollywood’s residents, Nicholson doesn’t seem to mind the paparazzi. This avid vaper is often caught with his e-cig in hand as he roams LaLa-land hotspots. This mega-star has delivered some of film’s most memorable moments. Our favorite? As Colonel Nathan Jessop, screaming “You can’t handle the truth!” in A Few Good Men.
We’re guessing this actor, who played a cigar-smoking, Guantanamo Bay Colonel, prefers the high-end cigar taste of Cordoba E-liquid.
We all know her from her tough-girl roles in movies like The Fast and the Furious. Given her “take-no-bull” persona, it should be no surprise that she fits right in with vape culture. In a photo taken last year, Rodriquez was vaping a killer tank system e-cig.
For this feisty native Texan, we’re picking Halo’s LongHorn e-liquid – a fire cured tobacco flavor.
Given the number of photos of Katherine Heigl vaping, it’s quite possible that she never puts her e-cigarette down! But, despite her near constant vaping, it’s her appearance on the David Letterman Show that got us so impressed. The former Grey’s Anatomy star, not only puffed away on the show, she also convinced Dave to try it.
A notorious diva, we’re thinking Katharine Heigl can’t live without the sugar and spice flavor of Voodoo.
Samuel L. Jackson
Samuel L. Jackson’s appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last year has to be one of the most memorable moments for celeb vaping. Not only was he puffing on an e-cig during the broadcast, he was also throwin’ down some slam poetry about the 90’s TV show, Boy Meets World. So hip, yet so strange. What else have we come to expect from this Pulp Fiction, Snakes on a Plane, and Django Unchained actor – nothing status quo that’s for sure.
We choose Freedom Juice for Samuel L.’s independent spirit.
Everyone’s favorite burnout from Fast Times at Ridgemont High is constantly spotted with an e-cig in hand. In 2013, this former Hollywood bad boy was even photographed vaping on stage at a Clinton Global Initiative Conference in Haiti.
Penn won his first Academy Award for his role in Mystic River. So, in honor of this achievement, we’re picking Mystic Menthol as his e-liquid of choice.
