Halo’s 2018 Grammy Guide

Halo’s 2018 Grammy Guide

Music’s biggest night takes the stage on Sunday! And this year, the 60th Annual Grammy Awards are being held in the Big Apple for the first time in 15 years. There will be music, there will be entertainment, there will be winners and losers, and we got the breakdown for you here:

Halo’s Winner Predictions

Record of the Year- Bring on the haters, but we think “Despacito” deserves to win Record of the Year. It got us bumping and grinding – maybe a little too much. But we don’t care because it had us moving! Don’t even try to deny you weren’t doing the same.

Album of the Year- This is the highest honor the Grammys can bestow, which makes it more difficult to choose a winner. But if we go with what we know, then we have to choose “DAMN.” by Kendrick Lamar. He deserves it and we wish him luck!

Song of the Year- The Song of the Year honors achievements in songwriting. The powerful message behind Logic’s “1-800-273-8255″ makes this our winning pick.

Best New Artist- The nominees in this category represent the best and brightest for the future of music. This year, the nominees are split down the middle between pop and R&B, but we predict Alessia Cara will take home the gramophone trophy. Her voice is like butter, and we’re not just saying that because we’re hungry.

If we missed the beat on these predictions, then we’re sure the top Grammy nominees will walk away with a win. Jay-Z is up for eight awards, Kendrick Lamar is up for seven, and Bruno Mars has been nominated for six.

Performances to Watch

This year’s performances will hit a high note with Lady Gaga, P!nk, Bruno Mars, and Cardi B hitting the stage. Shout out to our fellow vaper, Bruno Mars! You’ll definitely want to catch his performance with Cardi B. Not just because he’s a vaper, but because if his “Finesse” music video is any indication of his performance, then it will no doubt be a show stopper. Lady Gaga always leaves the audience with something to talk about for the next week, so stay glued to the TV when she takes the stage.

Vapes to Enjoy

The Grammys bring out music’s biggest stars, so it’s only appropriate to enjoy Halo’s biggest star, Tribeca. But if all the sweet music reunions have you singing a ballad then you might want to opt for a sweeter vape, such as Malibu.

Who are you rooting for this Sunday? What are your Grammy predictions? Tells us in the comment section below.
